Step 2 -
Choose How You're Going To Build Your WebsiteThere are a lot of different options when it
comes to making a website. Do you hire a web designer or do you
build it from scratch or do you use an online website builder?
Each has it's benefits and it's drawbacks.
View this link to read some additional
detail about each
website
creation option. The
things to consider is your HTML knowledge,
the amount of time you have and ultimately
what your website is about.
If you're not interested in learning about
HTML coding before you make a website your
best bet is to go with an
online
website builder. The only problem is
that you lose some flexibility in regards to
the site.
If you're wanting to make a website from
scratch or use a
website template you're probably best
suited for a full What You See Is What You
Get (WYSIWYG) editor. The popular choices
for this are Adobe Dreamweaver, Microsoft
FrontPage, or
CoffeeCup which is free. These options
will give you the flexibility to do pretty
much anything you'd like to do.
Lastly is a web designer, it's going to cost
you more but you're free of all of the
knowledge to get a professional website
online. Before you decide to go with this
option be sure to read about
hiring a
web design company. |
